NYPD Rookie Cop Shot and Killed During Domestic Violence Call in Harlem

Two NYPD officers were met with gunfire and one was killed while responding to a domestic violence call in Harlem Friday, officials said. Officer Jason Rivera, 22, was shot and killed, and 27-year-old Officer Wilbert Mora suffered life-threatening injuries after entering an apartment where a woman called 911 saying her son was being problematic. Officer Sumit Sulan, who joined the NYPD last year, shot the suspect, officials said. Inside Edition Digital’s Stephanie Officer explains.
