    Officials Call La Soufriere Damage “Apocalyptic” as 20,000 People Are Displaced

    Officials with the United Nations estimate up to 20,000 people are currently displaced in the aftermath of La Soufriere’s constant eruptions. The volcano, located in St. Vincent has been spewing ash all over the island, and as far away as Barbados since April 9. Now government officials from all over the world are pitching in with aid, money and supplies to help those affected take small steps towards the lives they once knew.
