It was a nightmare before Christmas, as one family's holiday cheer was shattered by a shocking crime. The Ferrari family's elf was brutally murdered. "I've been a cop for 20 years, and I've seen a lot of ugly, gruesome scenes, but this was probably the worst," said Shane Ferrari, undersheriff of San Juan County, N.M. Suspicion quickly turned to Josie, the family dog. Ferrari told InsideEdition.com, "I looked into Josie's eyes, I saw nothing but guilt. It was sad."
