Pod of Killer Whales Seen Bobbing Through Ice

A pod of 13 killer whales was seen bobbing up and down in between ice in Japan. At first, there was concern from environmentalists about their safety, but they since have escaped from being stuck. Orcas can be found in all seven oceans on earth. They were given the name “killer whale” by ancient sailors who saw them praying on large whales, according to Whales.org.
