When tests revealed that Bob the pony had leukemia, his vets turned to human doctors for help. "This is a pretty rare disease, but hopefully we can help other horses that might have this problem," said Dr. Laura Dunbar of the Ohio State University Veterinary Medical Center. Bob's form of cancer is rare in horses but common in humans.
