These animals might not look like their fellows, but they certainly have a special place in people's hearts. From lions to penguins, giraffes to elephants, and even a regular old schnauzer, some animals are born without pigment in their skin and eyes. Albinism is rare in nature, but albino mammals, reptiles, birds and amphibians do exist. Many of these animals are more vulnerable to predators because of their distinct appearance.
