Rare Baby White Rhino Takes First Steps Outside

A one-month-old southern white rhino was born at England's Whipsnade Zoo. The calf has been tucked away with his mother under the care of veterinarians, and his first steps outdoors were caught on camera. Births like this little rhino's are to be celebrated. There simply aren't many of his kind left. According to the World Wildlife Fund, southern white rhinos are classified as a near-threatened species, with only about 17,500 left in the wild.
