Rejected ‘Shark Tank’ Idea Bought By Amazon

The ‘Shark Tank’ judges are kicking themselves today for passing on the video doorbell Ring, as news comes that Amazon just acquired the company for a reported billion dollars! Just five years ago, Jamie Siminoff pitched the idea that allows homeowners to see who's at their front door on their smartphone. Back then, the company was called Doorbot. All the sharks passed, except for Kevin O'Leary. Jamie didn't give up. He rebranded the company and appeared on QVC last year.
