A Seal in Scotland Learned How to Sing 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star'
June 21, 2019
Seals at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland are learning how to sing and mimic human sounds. Zola was raised at the Scottish Oceans Institute, and she's one of several seals who are being taught to copy sounds that trainers play for them. Zola's recently sung along to the tune of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," and she can even mimic the "Star Wars" theme. Other seals were taught to copy human vowel sounds.
