Secret Chamber Found in Egypt's Great Pyramid
November 3, 2017
A secret chamber was recently discovered in Egypt's Great Pyramid of Giza. At about 100 feet long, it's roughly the same length as a basketball court. Researchers found the chamber using a technology called muography, which detects subatomic particles passing through the rock. No one knows what's in the chamber or what purpose it served. There are no plans yet to drill into the chamber, but scientists hope one day to send in a flying robot.
