Senior at Christian College Says She Was Forced to Drop Out After Reporting Rape

Mara Louk, an aspiring singer-songwriter, says she was violently sexually assaulted by a fellow student at Visible Music College. Visible is a private Christian college in Memphis, Tennessee. Mara and her parents recorded a phone call with the school that they thought would be about the alleged assault. Instead, school officials scolded Mara for supposedly having had premarital sex with another student. “What is wrong with you people,” her father yelled on the call. “Shame on you!”
