This May Be the World’s 1st Solar-Powered Off-Road Vehicle

A solar-powered car trekked off-road through the deserts of North Africa. Solar Team Eindhoven is a group of students from the Netherlands’ Technical University of Eindhoven who are on a mission to tap into the sun, Earth’s biggest energy source. They built Stella Terra, believed to be the world’s first solar-powered off-roading vehicle, bringing it from concept to reality in less than a year. Stella Terra successfully drove over 1000 km, about 621 miles, through Morocco.
