College Student Shot Dead After Trying to Enter Wrong House

A University of South Carolina student was fatally shot after he apparently tried to enter the wrong house. Nick Donofrio returned from a night out and tried to get into the wrong house by accident. Suddenly, shots rang out and Donofrio was found dead on the front porch. The person who shot the student may not face charges. South Carolina is one of 10 states with the "castle doctrine."
