Woman Dies After Being Impaled by Flying Beach Umbrella

A South Carolina woman was killed after being speared in the chest by a flying umbrella at Garden City Beach. 63-year-old woman Tammy Perreault was with her husband and friends when a powerful gust of wind sent the umbrella flying. Her friends screamed at her to duck, but the sharp end of the pole struck and impaled her. Her husband Mike Perreault now wants beachgoers to be on alert.
