    Superworms Help Scientists Study Sustainability

    Superworms could be the solution to the world’s recycling problems according to scientists at the University of Queensland in Australia. Superworms are originally from Central and South America and grow to be about 2 inches in length. Microbiologists are feeding three teams of larvae three different diets, including Styrofoam, to see how the bugs break it down. One says ‘it feeds the bacteria in the guts’ leading to ‘a very exciting discovery.’ Inside Edition Digital has more.
