Suspect Arrested for Home Invasion Murder of Jacqueline Avant, Music Exec’s Wife

Beverly Hills police announced an arrest in the shocking murder of Jacqueline Avant, the wife of legendary music producer Clarence Avant. The suspect was identified as Aariel Maynor, who authorities said left the Avants’ $16 million mansion and went to burglarize another home in the Hollywood Hills. He was found there with what appeared to be a gunshot wound to the foot. Authorities say that Maynor has a long criminal record and was on parole at the time of the home invasions.
