Teen Makes Panicked Call to Mom Following Florida Bridge Collapse

The horror of what happened to a pedestrian bridge sent a college student into shock. Richard Humble was in the passenger seat of a car when the bridge collapsed. The driver’s side was left flattened and Richard's fellow freshman, Alexa Duran, was killed. By some miracle the concrete did not crush his side of the car. Richard got on his cell phone with his mother in panic. Now he’s left to mourn his friend, as he wonders how his life was spared.
