An Ohio teen has inspired others by going against the wishes of his mother and getting vaccinated. Ethan Lindenberger, an 18-year-old high school senior, went on Reddit seeking advice on how to get vaccinated because "my parents think vaccines are some kind of government scheme," he wrote. His mother believes shots to prevent various diseases are linked to autism. Now other teens have started reaching out to Ethan, asking about how they can also get vaccinated even if their parents don't agree.
