Teen Saved in 2018 Thai Cave Rescue Dies in College

The ashes of Duangphet “Dom” Phromthep, one of the survivors of the 2018 Thai cave rescue, arrived in his home province of Chiang Rai on Saturday. The 17-year-old died on February 14, two days after he was found unconscious in his room at the Brooke House College Football Academy in Leicestershire, U.K. Phromthep was one of the teens rescued from a cave in Thailand, after surviving underground for more than two weeks.
