Teens Unearth Gold Coins Dating Back 1,100 Years in Israel Excavation

Some young excavators hit the jackpot. More than 400 gold coins dating back 1,100 years were unearthed during a dig in central Israel. The Israeli Antiquities Authority says the teens who found it were volunteers helping to prepare the site where a new neighborhood is planned to be built. It was also a significant amount of money to just be buried in the ground. Historians say it was enough to buy a luxurious home. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
