Teens Who Use Cannabis More Likely to Have Psychotic Disorder: Study

A new study shows teens who admit to using marijuana are at a higher risk of developing psychotic disorder. The new evidence was reported by the University of Toronto’s Center for Addiction and Mental Health. Researchers say they based their findings on 11,000 respondents aged 12 to 24 who are covered under Canada's national healthcare system and had no previous history of psychotic disorder.
