Tennessee Teen’s Letter to Younger Queer Self Honored by National LGBTQ Groups

Zee Taylor, 16, wrote a compassionate letter to her younger queer self and it’s so powerful, it won an award by two national LGBTQ organizations, Hope in a Box and Born This Way Foundation. Zee, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, writes in part, “to the young kid who did not know that they were not quite a boy or a girl... you are loved no matter what others may say.” She hopes these words encourage others going through the same struggle.
