Mom Dies From Fungal Meningitis After Undergoing Surgery

A Texas woman died of fungal meningitis after undergoing two cosmetic procedures in Mexico. Last March, Shyanne Medrano left her home and secretly went to Matamoros, Mexico, for a Brazilian butt lift and liposuction. Almost immediately after surgery, she began to experience headaches. It's believed that she contracted fungal meningitis from contaminated anesthesia. Medrano later died two months after the surgery. Inside Editon's Steven Fabian has more.
