Thanksgiving Day Parades Ramp Up Security After Waukesha SUV Attack

Security is being ramped up for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City following the deadly attack on the parade in Wisconsin. Authorities are also stepping up security around the Hollywood Christmas Parade on Sunday. There has been a shocking increase in the use of vehicles as weapons with at least 140 incidents since May 2020, leaving 9 dead and 162 injured. Darrell Brooks, the accused attacker in Waukesha, was in court today in a tense appearance.
