Tourist Thought US Soldier Running Into North Korea Was a 'TikTok Stunt'

A tourist from New Zealand recounts seeing the American solider who ran into North Korea from South Korea. “My first thought was, ‘What an absolute idiot.’ I assumed he was sort of getting a mate to film that for some kind of TikTok stunt or something like that,” Leslie King said. The solider has been identified as a cavalry scout with the 1st Armored Division. He recently served nearly two months in a South Korean prison for assault.
