Train Carrying GOP Lawmakers Crashes Into Garbage Truck

A passenger train carrying GOP members of Congress collided with a garbage truck Wednesday morning. The Amtrak was ferrying Republican lawmakers, staff and family members to a winter retreat in West Virginia, one day after President Trump's first State of the Union address. The White House confirmed the accident and said in a statement that there was one fatality and one serious injury. However, no members of Congress were among the injured.
