United Airline Passenger Criticized Fat Shamer on Flight

A woman allegedly fat shamed passengers on an airplane earlier this month and was reportedly thrown off the flight due to her rhetoric toward them. It happened before takeoff on a United Airlines flight from Las Vegas to Newark, New Jersey, on New Year's Day. Norma Rodgers, an oncology nurse, was seated next to the woman who was fat shaming her and her travel companion. “I'm stuck, but at least they'll keep me warm,” the woman could be heard saying in a video Rodgers recorded of the incident.
