15-Year-Old Hurt in Car-Surfing Accident Now in Coma

The mother of Ava Broadhead doesn't know if her daughter will ever be the same "zesty" teenager she once was after an accident left her with severe brain trauma. Fifteen-year-old Ava was supposed to be celebrating homecoming week but when the school parade was canceled due to bad air quality, she went out with friends instead. "We don't know if she'll be able to do simple things like hold a spoon, tie a shoe, walk upstairs," her mom, Kandis George, tells Inside Edition Digital's Leigh Scheps.
