A painting is expected to make art history this spring. Andy Warhol’s famous portrait of Marilyn Monroe is a rare lot. Christie’s says the 1964 work, titled “Shot Sage Blue Marilyn,” is one of the most iconic images of the 20th century, depicting one of the most famous faces of the era, by one of its most recognizable artists.
