Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe Portrait Expected to Set Record With $200 Million Sale

A painting is expected to make art history this spring. Andy Warhol’s famous portrait of Marilyn Monroe is a rare lot. Christie’s says the 1964 work, titled “Shot Sage Blue Marilyn,” is one of the most iconic images of the 20th century, depicting one of the most famous faces of the era, by one of its most recognizable artists. They expect it to fetch $200 million when the bidding starts in May. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
