Was Girlfriend of Samuel Olson’s Dad Planning on Fleeing Before Arrest?

The woman being held in connection with the death of little Samuel Olson, 5, appeared before a judge Monday. Theresa Balboa wore a county jail jumpsuit and shackles during the hearing. Balboa is the girlfriend of the little boy’s father and was taken into custody at the Best Western Motel in Texas, where the child’s body was found. Police believe she may have been fleeing with the boy’s body to Louisiana and she’s charged with interfering with evidence in the case.
