Wendy Williams Says She Slurred Her Words on Air Because of Pain Meds

It was clear Wendy Williams was struggling during Thursday’s show, as she repeatedly opened her eyes very wide and seemed to have trouble speaking. Some of her words came out slurred. Now she is apologizing. She posted a message on Instagram explaining that pain pills are to blame, saying, “I have a hairline fracture on my upper arm. I've never taken a pain medication in my life until this week. I promise you a better Wendy in 2019.”
