‘Whimsical’ Holiday Train Show at New York Garden Features a City Made of Plants

Tucked away in a corner of The Bronx is a model train show made almost entirely plants, twigs, leaves and bark. “All sorts of really wonderful little details of plant life are built into all the architectural embellishments.” Karen Daubmann of The New York Botanical Garden told InsideEdition.com. What’s even more unusual is that the Holiday Train Show uses those materials to depict New York City, a place not known for its natural building materials.
