Some wild moments were caught on video in 2018. One video shows residents of Paradise, California, flee as flames lick at their vehicles. They miraculously escaped, but the town of Paradise was lost. Video of an elderly woman driving the wrong way had us on the edge of our seats. Thomas Prado spotted the 94-year-old on a highway outside Abilene, Texas, and got her to pull over. Throughout 2018, cops responded to all kinds of life-or-death emergencies, from wild shootouts to a choking baby.
