Woman Loses $390,000 of Her Family’s Life Savings in Dating App Cryptocurrency Scam

A 24-year-old says she lost her family’s life savings in a dating app cryptocurrency scam. Nicole Hutchinson says someone she met on Hinge encouraged her to create an account on a legitimate cryptocurrency site, but then sent her a link to what he called a “cryptocurrency exchange platform” and told her to deposit her money there. As Nicole saw her investments grow, she got her father to invest his money also. The Hutchinsons were scammed out of $390,000, and are now living in an RV.
