Woman Says Passport Delay Made Her Cancel European Cruise

The State Department is being flooded with a record 500,000 passport applications a week. If you mail in an application for a passport today, the State Department says it will take as long as four months for you to get it. Connie Raynor says she and her husband had to cancel a European cruise because the passport she applied for three months before her vacation did not arrive in time. She also says they expect to lose almost $10,000 they prepaid for their vaction.
