600-Pound Sea Lion Resists Arrest in Washington State
February 28, 2020
Officers in Washington state had to figure out what to do with a 600-pound sea lion found on a road, several miles from water. Wildlife officials held up large, flat surfaces to try to deter the sea lion from going deeper into the forest. The sea lion was not appreciative of their efforts, lunging at officers. After several tense moments, however, officials were able to corral the marine mammal into a pen and return it to its habitat.
