    California Wildfires Burn Just Miles From Community Grieving Over Shooting

    As people of Thousand Oaks gathered on Thursday night for an emotional vigil to honor the 12 killed at Borderline Bar and Grill, smoke clouded the sky above them. The California community devastated by a mass shooting on Wednesday is facing a wildfire just five miles away. The community comforted each other, holding hands and lighting candles for the victims. Among those at the vigil were survivors of the shooting. "You might not know everybody's name but you're there for everyone," one said.
