Child of Cop Killed in 2020 Gets Police Escort to Kindergarten

The first day of school can be intimidating when you’re 5, but not for Raegan Thyne of Virginia, who had a police escort to kindergarten. Raegan’s mom, Katie Thyne, was a Newport News Police Officer who was killed during a traffic stop in 2020, three days after Raegan’s second birthday. Raegan’s family says they do their best to make sure that her mom’s presence is always felt in her life. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
