    Color Changing Hats Help Parents Tell Baby's Temperature

    Scientists at Louisiana State University have created a new wearable technology that may help parents know a key marker in their baby's health. Thermocromic yarn changes color when environmental temperatures change. With thermocromic hats, parents will be able to see even the slightest rise in their child's temperature, without touching them or using an invasive thermometer. The visual indicator could give families more time to react to a fever or illness.
