Dad Drowns While Saving His Kids From Rough Surf

A vacationing dad died after saving his own kids from drowning at a Florida beach. Authorities say Nadar Khalil of Ohio went into the water at Juno Beach in an attempt to rescue his kids from a riptide when he became caught in it himself, WPEC reported. Passersby were able to pull the 46-year-old from the water with the help of surfboards, but he was unresponsive, and later died at a hospital.
