Dad ‘Numb’ Over Discovery of Missing Teen Erin Foster’s Car and Remains 21 Years Later
It was incomprehensible for Cecil Foster to see his daughter’s car unearthed after 21 years. “It kind of seems like a dream,” he told Inside Edition Digital’s Leigh Scheps. Erin Foster, 18, and her friend, 17-year-old Jeremy Bechtel, disappeared in Sparta, Tennessee, in 2000. Then last week, scuba diver Jeremy Sides found her car underwater. Remains were also found in the car. “There's a sense of relief there but it still hurts there too, but I don't know if it'll ever go away,” Foster said.
