It’s a hard day’s work for gold miners, but many Venezuelans are hoping to cash in on the country’s natural resources. However, human rights advocates say the mining industry has gotten out of control with many illegal mines exploiting workers and putting them in danger. They say mercury exposure is just one hazard. They say dynamite is being used to get to the gold and miners work in hot conditions with limited safety gear. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
