A Maryland grandson secretly published his grandma’s children’s book she wrote more than 50 years ago. Barbara Rieco received the book she wrote as a surprise gift from her grandson, Chad Cooper. For years, she tried to get the book published but she kept receiving rejection letters. After Cooper published the book, it became the no.1 in children's multicultural literature.
