Melania Trump Wears Chanel to State Dinner

The first lady is getting high praise for putting together her first state dinner. President Trump gushed over his wife as he toasted the leader of France, Emmanuel Macron. He also took to Twitter Tuesday with more compliments. Melania chose a shimmering Chanel gown for the event. The custom-made dress was hand-painted with silver and embroidered with crystals and sequins. It was originally designed as a jumpsuit and presented at Chanel's spring runway show.
