People Rush to Save 100 Whales That Washed Up on Beach in Sri Lanka
When 100 whales washed up on the beach in Sri Lanka, local villagers came to their rescue, defying the law to do so. A 24-hour curfew was put in place in the South Asian island nation to help stem the spread of the coronavirus, but when these sea creatures came ashore in big numbers, locals knew they had to act. Fishermen gathered together to push the whales back out to sea and as word spread of the mass stranding others came out to help. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
