22-Year-Old Oklahoma Woman Found Dead on Barge in Mississippi River

A mystery on the Mississippi River: A woman was found dead on top of a barge and no one knows how she got there. The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee says the woman was identified as Hailey Silas, 22, of Oklahoma. Investigators say the barge departed from Memphis, but they don’t know why she was in the city or how she died. Reports say she called 911 in West Memphis, Arkansas, days earlier.
