12-Year-Old Up Late Playing Video Games Saves Family From Fire

A house catches fire and spreads next door. A 12-year-old boy playing video games late at night is to thank for getting everyone in his family out of the house. "I hear a pop. So I look outside the window and I see fire, like the light of a fire," Avante Weeks tells Inside Edition Digital. He ran outside to see what it was and back to his home to alert his parents. "I'm so proud of him. He's very responsible always, but to be that quick on his feet…and everybody got out safe and unharmed was amazing," says mom Tabatha Weeks.
