Woman’s Legs Amputated Following Bahamas Boat Explosion

Authorities have released the names of tourists aboard a boat that mysteriously exploded in the Bahamas over the weekend. All 10 passengers on the craft were Americans. Maleka Grimes Jackson, from Chattanooga, Tenn., was killed. Stefanie Schaffer, 22, of Rutland, Vt., lost both of her legs. The recent college grad was said to be a talented dancer and soccer player. Schaffer was with her younger sister, mother and stepfather when disaster struck.
