    Florida 17-Year-Old Electrocuted by Downed Power Line

    A 17-year-old girl died trying to escape a burning vehicle. According to Florida Highway Patrol, severe storms in Spring Hill, Florida, caused a tree to collapse on a live power line. Authorities say the teen drove over the downed power line in her car, causing it to catch fire along the driver’s side. She exited the car through the passenger door and was electrocuted when she stepped on the live wire.
