Hiker Trapped in Quicksand at Zion National Park Rescued

A helicopter came to the rescue of a hiker who found himself in a life-or-death struggle as he became trapped in quicksand. Ryan Osmun and his girlfriend, Jessika McNeill, were hiking in Zion National Park in Utah when he stepped into a harmless-looking pool. He began sinking, and without any cellphone service, his girlfriend set off on a grueling three-hour hike to get help. She even considered turning back to be with Ryan during what she believed would be their last moments together.
